Escaped from East Rochester home near Penfield Rd. train bridge. Mostly gray body with faint tabby markings and tan vertical lines on sides. Has a few white hairs on end of tail. Cream patch to left of mouth tan patch on throat. Large round yellow eyes with white fur edges. DSH but very soft and fuzzy. Very vocal. Very afffectionate but does not like to be held. Has blue eyes, a white ring of hair (raccoon eyes) around his eyes. Is a brownish-orange color, like a pumpkin pie. Has stripes on his tail. His body is "patchy", he looks like a marbled cake-has lighter colored cream "swirls" instead of stripes. Has very little white on his body, some on his face. Friendly but shy. What is believed to be a toy fox terrior was found on 7/7/03 running around the parking lot of the Crescent Beach Hotel on Edgemere Dr, in Greece, NY. VERY FRIENDLY, black and white, with a cropped tail, older dog. looks as though it was running around for a while. Very friendly and lovable. My son found him around a week ago on some property we own near Lake Breeze Estates in Hamlin. He was very thin and hungry when found. He followed my son and jumped in the car. He is a pretty black and white cat. Around 8 lbs. Half his face is black with black running down to his black nose which gives him a striking appearance. Very sweet dog, tracks like a pro, so I wonder if he was dumped where I found him or he would have gotten home. Found near Bryant Pond Road exit of Taconic State Parkway (Putnam County). He is about two and a half years old, according to my vet. Has a BB pellet healed into his side. He was dirty and worn when I found him, so he may have been lost for a while. LOST or possibly stolen on April 18th from his home on Drake Rd in Hamlin Ny. Un-neutered male dog. Believed to have been removed from his chain because tags were found nearby. Small lab - terrier or dingo mix. 4 yrs old. Just had shots. Weighs 21.9 lbs. Black with a diamond shaped white blaze between his very dark brown eyes but located on his forehead. Also, has a small white patch on chest. There is a small amount of ( aging ) white fur around his mouth. His legs have brown mixed in. He looks like a small black lab puppy. He often gets mistaken for a puppy. He is a very cute, friendly, playful, loving little dog who loves people and all other animals. FOUND PRECIOUS DOG: Mickey is a one year old neutered German Shepherd mix. He’s 100% housebroken, gentle, knows commands. He get along great with my three cats and my very domineering Papillion. I rescued him off the 590 expressway ramp about a month ago and he’s only getting better. He’s such a love and loves to run and play and interact with anyone who will play with him. He doesn’t touch shoes, but he will tear up your mail if it finds itself on the floor. He thinks anything on the floor is his toy, except for shoes. It is estimated that he’s about 1-1/2 to 2 years old. He’s neutered and will have his shots all up to date next month. I promise to have him groomed just before he’s adopted. Must have a secure, loving homestead with a fenced in yard. Mickey needs a lot of exercise and to be watched. He’s trusting and loving, and I don’t ever want him to know the fear and depression he felt when I found him on the expressway. He’s a perfect dog and needs 100% devotion. We had just put in a new pool. The fence was not complete around the pool. Thunder, our faithful companion of 7 years, had her collar off. She had just finished swimming in “her” pool. Just as it started to become night the pre-4th of July celebration had begun. It was loud: the noise of firecrackers and even a neighbor’s gunshots. Thunder had disappeared. Our family searched day and night. It’s been about 1 ½ years but we know she is still out there. Where is she? Is she being treated properly? She has entered her senior years; will whoever has our baby soon tire of her? Who has knowledge of our missing family member? Thunder is a beautiful black dog, was beginning to grey slightly, mostly around her mouth. She is approx 50lbs, now is about 8 ½ years old. Looks similar to a Golden Retriever (but BLACK and not quite as heavy) or an Irish Setter (again BLACK and not quite as tall) She was shy but friendly, great with small children, and an all around family dog, but especially loved her Daddy. She loved to swim but did not really enjoy a bath. She loved to go Bye-Bye. She was not really afraid of other canine companions but did not especially like them, she would foam at the mouth slightly, at the veterinarians office she would hide behind the chairs. We thought a stray that had been around was him, but was not. Leo is neutered, front-declawed, small-medium sized and very loud. He looks like a tabby, is brown/black and has an orange, spotted belly and short hair. If anyone has found him, he might like to mark his territory in the house. He had knee surgery and should be taking glucosamine/condroitin with his food everyday. He also knows the tricks sit and shake. He is SORELY missed, PLEASE e-mail with any information.
